CHURCH CLEANING - Pictures
April 16, 2011
Thank you to all who so generously assisted in the Church clean-up project on April 16
The wonderful spirit of St. Giles parish was most evident on the morning of April 16th when close to 40 people gave of their time and energy to help clean our beautiful spiritual home. The pews, walls, vestibules and St. Giles Shrine were all washed down. The tedious and meticulous job of cleaning the vigil lights and stands, and the frame of Our Mother of Perpetual Help made them all much brighter now! As was mentioned by one of the workers, you really do not appreciate the beauty and intricate detailed design of St. Giles Church until you see it first hand.
Three generations of parishioners came together to get the above done. Our sincerest thanks and deep appreciation to all, for without your help, this job would not have been done so efficiently. Following are the names of the people who signed in: Father Jim, Lorrie Alvarez, The Atchley Family, Beth Chlumecky, Lynn & Tom Geary, The Griffin Family, Dan & Liz Horvath, Abigail Jonke, Julie & Katie Keegan, Allie Kennedy, Margaret Ketcik, Mary Meo, Pat Micucci, Mary & Maggie Mitrovich, Shirley & Phil Morley, Keta Murphy, Kathie Nardi, Molly Nelson, Melanie Proctor, Therese Sabo, Barb & Dick Schulz, Phyllis & Fred Skwerski, Marianne Stefanski, Gerry & Donna Zych. There may be others who helped but did not sign the sheet – to them we also offer our sincerest thanks and appreciation. Thank you all for helping care for this beautiful treasure that is ours!
