Post Baptism Unfolding of the Mysteries of Our Faith

The Church gives us these 50 days to go deeper into the mysteries we celebrated at Easter. The Gospels of the Easter season present themes for our communal reflection.

April 18 - Third Sunday of Easter - Jesus makes breakfast at the Sea of Tiberius, and says, “Feed my lambs, feed my sheep”.

How do you feed the flock of Christ? What do you hunger for?

April 25 - Fourth Sunday of Easter - Jesus says, “My sheep hear my voice”.

What distracts you from hearing the voice of Christ? Who has shepherded you?

May 2 - Fifth Sunday of Easter - “I give you a new commandment: love one another”.

How is that working for you?

May 9 - Sixth Sunday of Easter - ”Peace I leave with you, my peace I give to you”.

How are you aware of the Holy Spirit in your life? What gives you peace?

May 16 - The Ascension of the Lord - “You are witnesses to these things”.

In what ways do you witness the action of Jesus in the world?

May 23 - Pentecost - “I have told you this while I am with you. The Advocate, the Holy Spirit… will teach you everything and remind you of all that I told you”.

Where do you see the Holy Spirit alive in the church?

May 30 - The Most Holy Trinity - At the heart of Jesus ministry is the relationship with the Father and the promise of the Spirit indwelling in the church. At the heart of all is the divine relationship in God with each other.

June 6 - The Most Holy Body and Blood of Christ - Jesus said, “This is my body given for you… this is the new covenant in my blood”. Take. Bless. Break. Share. We are the Body of Christ.

What holy meals do you and your family share?
