Contemporary Masses take place at 11:15 am in Church

Contemporary Masses are twice a month and that is when the St. Giles teens lead the liturgical ministries at our weekly 11:15 am Mass. They participate as lectors, ushers and Eucharistic ministers. They also lead the assembly’s music as cantors, choir and musicians. Their music reflects the common parish repertoire as well as many contemporary songs. All are welcome to join in these spirit-filled celebrations.

GREETING MINISTRY

Are you friendly, helpful, in high school, and looking for a way to get involved and serve at St. Giles?

If so, we need your help!!

We are looking for a couple of students to join the Greeter Team as part of the 11:15 am Contemporary Mass. The commitment is once every 4-6 weeks to help greet parishioners, pass out worship aids, take the collection, and hand out bulletins at the end of Mass.

A retreat is…

• a time to get away from the stresses of everyday life
• an opportunity to make new friends and strengthen relationships
• time to examine your life, & consider the role of faith and God in your life
• discuss deep questions, laugh and have fun, pray, hang-out, be yourself!

The KAIROS weekend includes various talks given by team leaders who have participated in Kairos before, small group break-outs, reflection, activities and games, prayer, and plenty of free time.
