Seniors Indoor Picnic

In spite of the extreme heat our country is experiencing this summer, a wonderful afternoon was enjoyed by our Seniors in the cool comfort of McDonough Hall, free from buzzing bees, pesky flies, annoying ants, and cicadas! Our picnic lunch included grilled hot dogs, along with an awesome variety of delicious sides and delightful desserts to satisfy our “sweet” tooth! After lunch the Seniors enjoyed playing and competing in a variety of exciting games and prizes. A fun-filled picnic afternoon of great food, challenging games, and a special time to gather together to enjoy each other’s company.

Hats off to Barb & Dick, Denise & Bruce, Maureen, Ann, Joan, Russ and Ed, and to all who provided all the delicious goodies shared on our picnic tables. The Seniors are taking a break in July and August, and will resume our monthly meetings in September. Happy Summer from all the Seniors!
