St. Francis Annual Blessing of Pets 2016

THANK YOU, PET LOVERS! – Many creatures, great and small, came together on a beautiful Tuesday afternoon for our annual St. Francis Blessing of Pets. The event was blessed in many ways – a warm and sunny afternoon, many lively and beautiful pets, and the generosity of their owners. A lively pet choir added a little extra to the blessing service.

A HUGE THANK YOU to all the pet owners who so generously donated cat and dog food, fleece blankets, paper towels, pet toys, etc., to the collection for the Oak Park Animal Care League. What a wonderful response to our special request again this year! Your generosity is most appreciated, especially by all those beautiful and lonely animals waiting for a forever home. A very special THANK YOU to Carol Rossi and son, Tony, who loaded up their van and delivered all the donations received to the Oak Park Animal Care League. What an enormous help this was to us! God bless all of you abundantly for caring and sharing!
