St. Giles May Crowning

This celebration of our Blessed Mother, Mary, was led by our St. Giles School 2nd and 8th Graders. We welcome the 2nd Graders, as they are now able to receive the Sacrament of the Eucharist and the 8th Graders, as they have completed their initiation into the Catholic Church here at St. Giles through the Sacrament of Confirmation.

All students and many parents enjoyed both grades processing up to Mary to present her with a flower, and watched as Daniel B. & Jane O. placed a crown of flowers upon her head. This prayer service is always one of the fondest memories of the school year.
