The Foundations and Future of Ministry

All Oak Park parishes are invited to join Father Bob Hutmacher, OFM and Vicky Tufano online or in-person at Ascension parish for three evening sessions on Thursdays, April 22, 29, and May 6 at 7:30 pm on serving God’s people through ministry in the Church.

The sessions will cover our understanding of the Church where we minister, scriptural foundations for our conceptions of ministry today, ways to view ministry in our post-Covid future, and new ways of being the Church, as we begin a process of transformation through Renew My Church. How can we best revitalize ministry today for the Church of tomorrow?

REGISTRATION IS REQUIRED – To register, please send an email to and put “Ministry Series” in the subject line. In the body of the email, put whether you would prefer to attend online or in-person, or if you have no preference. If you don’t indicate a preference, we assume you will attend online. Those attending online will receive an email before the first session with a link to the online livestream. In-person sessions will be held at Ascension Catholic Church, 808 South East Avenue, Oak Park at 7:30 pm.
