The Chosen is the first-ever multi-season TV show about the life of Jesus. You may have seen it on Netflix. The Chosen allows us to see Him through the eyes of those who knew Him. Faith and Film Ministry is bringing Season 1 to St. Edmund’s Murphy Hall following the Saturday 5 pm Mass beginning Saturday, November 30, from 6:30 to 8:30 pm. Giving us the opportunity to watch an episode of the show and then break out into small groups to discuss what we saw and how it relates to our individual lives. Each episode has its storyline, so if you can’t make a session, it’s okay. Movie-style snacks will be sold, and you are welcome to bring your own. Please register now! LOCATION, TIME AND RIDES
- Murphy Hall at St. Edmund Church, 188 S. Oak Park Avenue – The parking lot is behind the church off Pleasant Ave, just south of the church. The accessible entrance to Murphy Hall is located between the two garages off the alley; follow the green signs once you park.
- 6:30 to 8:30 pm – Please arrive after 5 pm Mass or early enough to settle in before the episode begins at 6:30 pm.
