Time for Caring and Sharing: the CCW Sharing Tree
With the Christmas Season quickly approaching, we would like to remind you of one of the traditions that makes our Parish so special – the CCW Sharing Tree. It is a way to support vulnerable families during the holidays – to share what we can and care for one another, especially those in need.
Donations so far this year are down. Your help is needed to brighten the holidays for the vulnerable families we help each year.
We are asking for donations of gift cards to Jewel, Walmart or Target. You may also make a donation via a check payable to St. Giles CCW or online via GiveCentral by using the button below. Mail or drop off your donation at the Parish Center, 1025 Columbian Ave., Oak Park, IL 60302 or drop it in the Offertory collection at weekend Mass. So that we have sufficient time to purchase and allocate the gift cards to those needy families for their Christmas shopping, please respond by Friday, December 15.
Anything you can offer will be greatly appreciated. An increasingly complex world is no match for the simplicity of kindness. Now more than ever, we need to be there for each other with loving hearts and compassionate souls. Thank you in advance for your generosity.
