“Justice and Injustice” – In-Person and Livestreamed Presentation

Give a listen to the recent Black History Month panel discussion on “Justice & Injustice: Systemic Inequities, Community Resilience, and the Transformative Power of Art, Faith, and Advocacy.” – The discussion included a focus on a painting St. Giles resident priest Fr. Larry Dowling commissioned from artist Haman Cross III called “Unrequited Love.”
The presentation was held at St. Catherine of Siena – St. Lucy Church on February 22, 2025 – Our panel featured:
- Tanya Woods – Executive Director, Westside Justice Center
- Haman Cross III – Artist, Creator of the Injustice Art Piece
- Father Larry Dowling – Priest and Advocate for Social Justice
Moderated by Xavier Ramey, CEO of Justice Informed, the discussion examined the intersection of justice, community resilience, and activism. The event was hosted by The Neighborhood Bridge under the direction of Mr. Prentice Butler, Executive Director.
