Rites of Acceptance, Sending and Election

January and February 2024

Rite of Christian Initiation for Adults and Rite of Christian Initiation for Children – As we enter Lent, please pray for those who are in the process of joining the Catholic Church through the reception of the sacraments of initiation: Baptism, Eucharist, and Confirmation.

The candidates and catechumen are in the first row in the picture above at St. Catherine-St. Lucy church during the Rite of Acceptance / Rite of Welcome – Pictured are Declan Krueger, Liam Krueger, Nolan Krueger, Reese Butler, Julia Butler, Bryce Tweedy, Tish Williams, Dominic Metoyer, and Evert Kemp.

On February 18,2024, they went to Holy Name Cathedral for the Rite of Election following the Rite of Sending at the St. Giles 10:30 am Mass. Thank you for your prayers.
