Becoming Catholic – An RCIA Invitation! – Walking the path as a Catholic is a lifelong journey, full of all sorts of weather, road conditions, challenges and abundant Graces. Some of us were received into the Church at a young age, and some of us perhaps were baptized but never received Holy Communion. Perhaps you were never baptized, and you walk the path with a spouse who is devout, and you would like to learn more about being received into the church. You may be a spiritual seeker and you are interested in learning more about Catholicism to see if it’s the path for you. These are all scenarios that can be explored through the process of RCIA – The Rite of Christian Initiation for Adults. Our program begins in September.
The RCIA (Rite of Christian Initiation of Adults) is a process designed for adults who are coming to the Catholic faith from another faith tradition, have been baptized in the Catholic faith, but have not received any other Sacraments, or have not been baptized in any particular faith tradition.
The RCIA process allows you to journey through the full liturgical year and the timeline can vary from person to person as to the readiness of reception of the Sacraments of Initiation (Baptism, Confirmation, Eucharist) at the Easter Vigil.
