Housing Forward Day of Meals
February 20 – March 19 – April 16 – May 21
Can you help us provide a day of meals for the Housing Forward shelter at SCSL? – The CCW is looking to provide support to Housing Forward by providing a day of meals to guests.
The sign-up is broken down for various items, feel free to sign up for what you’d like. Feel free to get creative – gather your family, friends, volunteer group, or troop to prepare the items.
Please note the meal specifics below:
- The dinner items will be served shortly after drop-off, so please bring dinner meal items ready to serve family/buffet style by the meal staff.
- Breakfast items will be served the next morning by the breakfast hosts. They will put out the dropped-off items.
- Since the sack lunches will be given out by the breakfast hosts as the shelter guests leave the next morning, they should be delivered packaged and ready to put in the fridge.
Finally, the sign-up genius requests bottled water. These will be served to the guests at breakfast, lunch and handed to them with their sack lunch.
Donors can drop their items off all at 7 pm at Saint Catherine Saint Lucy Rectory at 38 N. Austin Oak Park, IL 60302
