Children’s Liturgy of the Word is offered generally twice per month from September through May.
Children in Grades K – 3rd are invited to assemble after the Opening Prayer to receive a blessing as they dismiss to celebrate the Liturgy of the Word with their leader.
The leader utilizes the scriptures from the Children’s Lectionary for that week and guides the children to a greater awareness of God’s presence in their lives through discussion, song, and prayer.
The children return to the assembly during the Presentation of the Gifts to celebrate the Liturgy of the Eucharist.
