Congratulations, Kari Harris!
CCW Woman of the Year 2019

Each year, the CCW presents the CCW Woman of the Year Award to a parishioner who, as a member of CCW, gives witness to her faith by living out the CCW mission through extraordinary participation in CCW projects and events.

This year, Kari Harris was selected as Woman of the Year in recognition of her constant and committed leadership and participation in CCW along with St. Giles Parish and School.

Kari has been on far too many committees to list. Most recently, Kari has served on the CCW Board as the Communications Chair. She is talented and generous and always gives 100%. Kari believes in giving back and does so with a loving and caring attitude. When a new project needs to be handled, she gladly takes the wheel and gets it done. The school, parish, community and CCW are all the better because Kari Harris made a difference.

Thank you, Kari!

FROM KARI I am honored to receive this award. Growing up, my parents and grandparents showed me the importance of volunteering and giving of time, talent and treasure. In particular, I credit my paternal grandmother, Emily Krupa, for being my role model at an early age. She was honored by the Archdiocesan Council of Catholic Women for her many hours of volunteer work. I hope another woman in the next generation will continue the tradition.
