A Day of Reflection for Men

All Catholic Men of Oak Park are invited to A Day of Reflection on Saturday, May 18

The day will be centered around a reflection given by Terry Rynne, founder of Marquette University Center for Peacemaking. He teaches “Introduction to Peace Studies”, and is the author of Gandhi and Jesus: The Saving Power of Nonviolence and Jesus Christ, Peacemaker: A New Theology of Peace. The focus will be our challenges and responses, building on our discussion (from our April 16 Meeting) of John Dear’s presentation about Nonviolence and Jesus.

  • Date and Time – Saturday, May 18 from 8:30 am to 4:30 pm
  • Location – St. Giles Campus – McDonough Hall – NW corner of Columbian and Greenfield, Oak Park, 2nd floor
  • Cost – $45 (includes lunch and refreshments) – Payment due the day of the retreat!

This invitation is extended by the St. Giles Family Mass Community Men’s Group – The SGFMC Men’s Group meets monthly to present and discuss topics of spiritual value. The Men’s Group was initially formed in 1975, and continues to the present day.
